  G'day

  wujigay

Deep in the shade by the mountain streams

or the high mountain hidden gullies

Black stems and deep glossy green leaves,

with spring rains we open our flowers,

by mid-winter our bell-shaped fruit are ripe.

We are as old as the mountains,

the last of the first flowering plants.

  bounty   from the   mountain
